You will need to be at least 17 years old and have a UK Provisional Driving Licence
q:How often should I take lessons?

We always advise booking at least weekly lessons at a minimum of 1.5 or 2 hours to ensure we make the most of our time together.
q:Do I need to pass the theory test before I can start lessons?

JLC is owned and managed by Joanna Crossley, a fully qualified Government approved driving instructor.
q:I am really nervous about learning to drive, how can you help me?
a:Prior to becoming an ADI, I was a teacher for over 25 years and am a qualified Emotion Coach, NLP Practitioner and Test Nerves Coach so you are in safe hands.
q:Can a friend or relative teach me how to drive?

We always advise getting some independent practice but as a qualified ADI Government approved instructor, we always ask that you practice what we teach in lessons but do not take instruction from others to ensure that you dont pick up any bad habits.
q:What happens if I don't like my instructor?

Many students feel nervous before starting that they may not feel comfortable with their instructor, its very normal. However, you can rest assured, I am caring and considerate and will support you throughout your driving journey.
